Lisa Aziz joined TV -AM as an on-screen reporter in 1988 and was appointed Newscaster in 1989; Co-presenter of HTV's 'The West This Week' in 1987; Joined HTV WEST in 1985 as a news reporter / presenter; became a regional TV journalist with BBCTV West in Bristol in 1984; Trainee Journalist with Radio City in 1983 and moved to Liverpool after completing a three month Journalist Foundation Course at the National Broadcasting School in London.

Lisa Aziz graduated from Goldsmith's College, London university with B.A. Hons. Art History / Religious Studies; studied at Manning Grammar School for Girls, Nottingham, and Furzedown School, London.
