Introduction by Rami Ranger
The 15th edition of the Asian Who's Who promises to be an exciting
issue, with more entries than before. We have strived to bring a
maximum number of Asians in one reference book and this has been
possible only with the co-operation of those who's names appear
in this book.
The book symbolises Asian success and recognises the achievements
and contributions of the British Asians. I am pleased to say that
this book has become a role model for many unsung heros who's achievements
and contributions could have gone unnoticed if it was not for this
publication. The impact of this publication has been a very significant
one in building bridges between asians and the host community. As
a result, we are enjoying better race relations today.
As the saying goes, justice should be seen to be done. This publication
endeavours to do this annualy by spotlighting the achievements of
Asians. We have come a long way from the days of the conception
of The Asian Who's Who.
Many influential people have attended the annual functions - either
as chief guests or observers and these people have been responsible
for making several decisions which have had a major impact on the
lives of asians in Great Britain. Hidden talent is no talent and
this publication aims to bring the tremendous talent within our
community to the forefront.
I hope you take the benefit from the material in this book and
continue you association with this publication as it represents
the success and dynamism of our community as a whole.
